Booking Terms

General Policy

Cancellation policy at St Giles House Hotel is no charge if cancelled24 hours prior to arrival time of 15.00. Later than this 100% of the first night is charged.

Check in time is from 15.00 and check out is at 11.00 am.

Please note that our apartments are located approximately 100 yards from our hotel in a separate building.

All bookings must be accompanied by a debit or credit card to secure the booking. For apartment bookings we require sight of and will make a copy of a photographic ID, either a valid drivers license or passport of the guest in whose name the booking was made.
For foreign travelers we require sight of and we will make a copy of a valid passport.

Room rates are the going rate at the time of booking.

Payment is taken on arrival.

We will pre-authorise your card for the full amount of the stay when the booking is made.

Pets are not allowed either in the hotel or the apartments.

Late departures may be requested but cannot be guaranteed, if allowed a charge of £50.00 (fifty pounds) will be levied and must be paid in advance, check out can only be extended to 13.00.

Please note that we do not provide porterage to the apartments.

Only our suites have mini bars, we rely on our guests to advise us on checkout if they have used the mini bar, payment must be made on checkout.

Where breakfast is not included in the room rate, guests may request breakfast on check in at a discounted charge of £9.95 per person. If breakfast is only requested on the morning of service the charge is £14.95 per person.

Hotel parking is available one car per bay at a rate of £5.00 per day at the hotel.

Apartment parking is very limited and is free on a first come first served basis. Parking can be reserved at the apartments for stays of 6 months or more at an extra charge of £150.00 per month.

For long stays the apartments are serviced once a week.

We provide wifi at no additional charge in both the hotel and the apartments. Every effort is made to ensure good reception in the rooms and apartments and generally it is consistently good, from time to time however technology does not always perform as required.

Room service is available and a tray charge is levied per order for rooms only.
