What a fantastic gem - Rating 5/5

What a fantastic gem, right in the heart of the city. A lovely old building, spotlessly clean, well presented and lovely atmosphere. The room was spacious and spotless. The breakfast was amazing and all of the staff were really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this as a place to stay in Norwich and we will definitely be returning. Many thanks to Lisa and all the other staff who contributed towards our stay. See you again soon x Source: Facebook

Covid precautions well maintained. Said 'Cozy' room but it had lots of room. Curtains were thick, blocking evening and morning light. Big bathroom with strong shower. Ample free parking. Excellent location for the City Centre. Spa was available but didn't use it or the Bar. Source: Booking.com

Rest and respite - Rating 4/5

We came to Norwich on a busy travel itinerary which took us from London to the Holy Island, to Cambridge, Auldesborough, Cambridge again and then Norwich.St. Giles House, in the tradition of ancient religious institutions, provided us with a comfortable place of calm and rest, among rain and snow, trains that were late and long bus rides. The convenience of being in the center of town, within walkable distance of every place we wanted to see, was invaluable. Our room was elegant, and I particularly liked having a little balcony to enjoy watching the rain without getting wet, and listening to the church bells. It was unfortunate that not all rooms come with the hotel breakfast option. Nevertheless, was a lovely stay.
